Ladbrokes, one of the world's largest online gaming and interactive betting services, has completed the takeover of Global Betting Exchange Alderney Ltd., the operator of Betdaq. It is believed that Ladbrokes paid 30 million euros and the acquisition would enable them to grow their share of the bet spend through the creation of a differentiated and comprehensive sports betting proposition.
"The Betdaq exchange is a well-regarded and well-invested business and a close strategic fit for Ladbrokes", said a spokesman.
